Mrs. Driscol's Classroom Web Site
PARENTS & STUDENTS

PARENTS: Please feel free to check your child's grade level to see what they are doing in class. Do you ever ask them, "What did you do in school today?" and get the "nothing" reply?  Or maybe, "How was your day?  How are your classes?" and get "fine" in return??  You must have a middle schooler! :-)  Ask your child...

~ Is your assignment done? (ask to see it)
~ Did you turn the assignment in?
~ Is your name on the assignment?
~ Is your binder organized and neat?  (ask to see it)

Middle schoolers are often disorganized and forgetful (does forgetfulness stop at middle school??).  Often they need all the help they can get.  Thank you for all your help! :-)

STAY INFORMED...
STUDENTS: The "to do list" is on my board every day ~ copy it down the moment you walk into class.  On the side board are the long-term due dates for ongoing projects.  Check the website at home if you are not sure what is going on.  It is your responsibility to keep up in class... if you need help ~ please ask!!

PARENTS:  If you have a question ~ feel free to jot a question in the Action Planner or on paper and have your child bring it to me, or send me an e-mail.  Keep the lines open ... we want your child to succeed in middle school.

FAMILY EDUCATION LD & ADHD...
Parents:  This is a great section to recommend so you can connect with other families and find out about learning disabilities and ADHD. There are many homework strategies, skill-building activities, and behavior modification techniques.
