7th Grade Social Studies, Language Arts, and Computer Project

SOCIAL STUDIES
  • Research your state in the 3 assigned topics:  Places of Interest, Economy, Geography
  • Use at least 2 sources in your research
  • Record your sources and notes on notecards (1 fact per card)
  • Watch for pictures to scan
  • Choose 5 interesting and unique "Fast Facts" to display on poster

LANGUAGE:
  • Take all notecards to language
  • Write 3 detailed & exciting paragraphs covering the assigned areas
  • Sentences use descriptive language, topic sentences, extensive supporting details, and concluding sentences
  • 0-3 errors in spelling, punctuation, and usage

COMPUTER
~ Detailed decription can be read if you click on the link below.
 
~ Students will then create a poster in computer class displaying their research findings.
 
~ An example of a completed poster will be hanging in Mrs. Eikamp's room ... once you begin in computer class, the poster will be displayed in the lab.
