8th Grade Dossier

The Dossier is a one-page look at YOU!  In the Dossier you will write about your family, education, hobbies/interests, employment/career interests, community involvement, honors/awards, and learning style.  Students will need to ask other 2 people to write them a recommendation to include on their Dossier.  This will all fit onto one neat, creative, personalized page that will be color printed.
 
All Dossiers are then put into a binder (with page protectors) and sent over to the high school!  This booklet is always great fun to look at!!!

LANGUAGE:
  • Introduce the project
  • Show past dossier booklets
  • Receive a Dossier packet
  • Write in the packet using the examples given
  • Go over your Learning Style to include
  • Ask for Recommendations

COMPUTER:
  • Set up page (change margins to 0.5 inches)
  • Go over the criteria on how to piece everything together
  • Everything must fit on one page
  • Scan in a recent photo (baby/child photos are optional)
  • You have 3 class days to complete
